Team lead at PRUNE Les Fleurs

Business is blooming with the imminent opening of our fourth store in Ontario (Spring 2024) on Power Street, Downtown Toronto.
We are continuing our existing and harmonious partnership by sharing this new inspiring space with PRUNE, a delightful flower boutique who is known for its elegant and deconstructed creations as well as its commitment to working with the most beautiful flowers of the season.
We are looking for a Team Leader passionate about floral art and home styling to oversee both the Prune les fleurs space and the kitchen and lifestyle space of Home Société/Must.
The Team Leaders reports to the Prune les fleurs owner based in Montreal, and is primarily responsible for effective management and organization of their respective boutique. They are also responsible for ensuring a healthy, fun, collaborative and stimulating working environment.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You spontaneously prioritize excellent customer service.
- Prioritizing excellent customer service.
- Supervising the team to ensure all customers receive top-notch service.
- Advising clients with their needs and guide them to the right team member.
- Addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Maintaining the high standards of a boutique comes easily to you.
- Reproducing and maintaining the Prune visual presentation of Prune and Lifestyle/Kitchen spaces."
- Handeling products transfers so to ensure a good inventory turnover
- Overseeing incoming shipments (flowers, plants, and accessories) and ensuring they meet PRUNE's and Home Société’s quality standards.
- Promptly communicating any requests with major creative potential to key members of the Prune les fleurs team.

- Keeping an eye on upcoming events and activities and planning accordingly.
- Managing time and resources wisely (monthly schedule, orders and tasks).
- Supporting each team member during challenging customer interactions or internal situations.
- Participating in training of new employees.
- Contributing to the creation of annual employee evaluations
You absolutely love taking charge of administrative tasks.
- Updating processes related to the smooth operation of the boutique.
- Managing communication (phone, emails) and planning (Asana, order book) effectively.
- Ensuring good collaboration and effective communication with suppliers, members of other Prune les Fleurs stores, as well as the Home Société/Must team.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Managing boutique transactions (receipts, returns, credits for perishable and non-perishable materials).
- Participating in boutique inventory (twice a year).
You understand that being a team leader means doing a bit of everything.
- Ensuring workspaces and equipment are clean and safe
- Creating content for social media upon request.
These qualifications would be an asset.
- Proficient in Shopify, Asana, and Microsoft Word.
- Experience with cash transactions and Moneris.
- Have valid driver's license and a car
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years experience in retail.
- Experience in managing a team of more than two employees.
- Available from Monday to Friday
- Available to work on weekends when required
